Commonly Asked Questions

Who should Hire a wardrobe Stylist?

Even if you're not a celebrity or walking the red carpet, many busy, high-achieving women, professionals and business owners find value in working with a stylist. If any of the following resonate, a wardrobe stylist could be a great fit:

  • Your closet is cluttered, disorganized, or packed. If finding something to wear takes longer than 15 minutes, or you end up making a mess looking for options.

  • Your shopping trips are reactive, triggered by events. Instead, your wardrobe should be built around timeless capsule pieces and staples, saving you time and money.

  • Your clothes don’t fit your body or reflect your personality. If your wardrobe isn’t portraying who you are or how you want to be perceived, professional guidance can help align your style with your identity.

What is a Wardrobe Stylist? Is it the same as a Personal Shopper?

People commonly use these terms interchangeably, but I view them differently. In my opinion, a Personal Shopper shops for you based on your requests. Example; a client might say, “I need a yellow blazer and barrel jeans.” The Personal Shopper may shop with the client or select the items or put them on hold for the client to try at their convenience.

A Wardrobe Stylist, on the other hand has “pull” and “memo” privileges, allowing them to take items “on loan” for clients to try in your own space… No need to worry about returns! We’re experts in building a quality, cohesive, and timeless wardrobe. We approach fashion as both an art and a science, staying current with industry trends to help you make smart investments into your wardrobe.

How Much Does a Wardrobe Stylist Cost?

No surprises here—I’m upfront about pricing! My hourly rate is $280.

  • Purchasing 10–19 hours grants a 5% discount (paid in full).

  • Purchasing 20+ hours grants a 10% discount (paid in full).

You have 13 months to use your purchased hours. In addition clients opting for 20+ hours receive a Digital Lookbook that lays out different ways to style items in your wardrobe, and a password-protected Online Boutique specifically curated with items to enhance their wardrobe. Should a 20+ hour client deplete their hours before the 13 months are up, they can add more at the reduced rate.

Note: Clothing costs are separate from styling services.

How much should I budget for clothes?

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have a bit of a label problem… and I won’t let you be like me! My goal is to help you maximize your budget and create a versatile, quality wardrobe.

Your budget depends on your style goals. If you need a few basic staples (think quality, contemporary brands at $200–$800) and some seasonal trends (high-street brands at $50–$250), I’d estimate a wardrobe investment of around $2,000–$4,000 over 2–6 months.

Do you do “one-off” sessions for events or photoshoots?

Yes! While clients tend to see the best results with ongoing work, I do offer one-off sessions on a case-by-case basis. It’s best to plan 4–6 weeks ahead of your event so we can review your wardrobe and factor in shipping time, especially considering limited access to some showstoppers in Charlotte. Flexibility and realistic expectations are key!

I offer pulls (loaned items) for photoshoots to established clients who have purchased 20+ hours of styling.

Do you style men?

Kind of…
I’m happy to style husbands, sons, fathers, and occasionally brothers of my female clients. My expertise includes business casual, custom suiting, and formal wear. If streetwear is what you’re after, I can refer you to talented stylists who specialize in that area.

Can I Just Book 1 Hour?

Absolutely! For a quick event or wardrobe refresh, 2–3 hours is typical. If alterations are needed, add an hour.
For multiple events or ongoing style updates, purchasing a package of 10 hours offers a more economical solution, especially with the discounted rate.
